What Customers Say About Motorola 56320 Earpiece with Boom Microphone:
|
|
The product is not usable as it has the wrong size plug. I needed 1/8th and it came with a 3/32nd. The ad discription was incomplete as it failed to indicate what size plug it came with
The next morning my son told me (13 year olds don't tell you much)that they worked "ok" so that would be "great" for the rest of us. I bought two for my son and his friend for their airsoft games. They used them at night with Motorola Talkabouts. Also I'm looking forward to using them on our sailboat for anchor setting. Testing them around the house they worked great, while whispering or talking normally they performed very well.
They do not.Instead, if you want to use PTT to talk, you need to take the radio out of your pocket, press the button, talk into headset release button. I purchased these with the hope I could use them on an upcoming ski trip. Our walkies are not VOX (voice activated) compatible (VOX radios are too big to fit in your pocket comfortably), and I was hoping these headsets would have a button on the wire (etc) that you could press to activate PTT (Push To Talk) mode. It's really no better than holding the walkie up to your head. Sigh.(And I'm sure these work great with VOX radios, I just didn't want to use VOX since I've heard negative things about delays, hearing people's breathing, etc).
Press to talk will work fine. "Voice activated is troublesome. You can follow the directions and still be unable to use the voice activation. Voice activation without the boom microphone works fine. We have been able to utilize the boom microphone voice activation a couple of times but then for no discernible reason, it will cease voice activation.
we use units with some two way radios that i've modified to use on our bikes. The talk button is within easy reach so with the boom mic we can chat as we ride with out being side by side or yelling back or forth. After trying at least 4 other models we found the perfect match for our needs in the motorola 56320. It's a pretty sweet setup.
